Biography[]
K'Meru is a female Caitian in her early 30's
She was born on a nameless asteroid in the Chin'tok system after the shuttlecraft containing her pregnant mother and her father crash landed during an ion storm.
Unfortunately, both parents died before rescue however K'Meru was left alive leaving her an orphaned child. This also resulted in irreparable damage to the nerves in her legs and eyes, and so when discovered by the U.S.S. Roosevelt she was transported to emergency medical care on Starbase 31.
With no living relatives, she was then left with Starfleet Medical, and brought up on Starbase 31 under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Sobek, where she would undergo a basic education and learn about the universe and her life with implantation.
At the age of 19, K'Meru was enlisted into Starfleet Academy where she trained in the fields of Medicine, Command and Science. She majored in Medicine where she graduated Starfleet Academy 6th in her class and then has pursued a career in medicine with Starfleet.

Starfleet Academy:
Graduated 6th in Class and joined Starfleet Medical.
Academy Training Courses Included: Medicine, History (Terran), History (Vulcan), Counseling, Physical Therapy.
Starbase 31:
Trained as a medical technician on Starbase 31
Underwent advanced combat and survival training prior to transfer to the U.S.S. Solstice.
U.S.S. Solstice:
Received training in the operation and use of hand-phasers.
Trained as a combat medic and nurse
Trained as a doctor
Completed advanced training in counseling and therapy
Successfully underwent and completed training for promotion into the officer core
Medical History[]
Born with limb defects in legs and blind due to circumstances surrounding birth.
Successfully fitted with cybernetic limb replacements and retinal replacement implants
Developed a fear of the dark at 14 after implants failed due to growth hormones and changes in her retinal nerves, causing her to be blind for a week.
Successfully operated on and replaced retinal implantation with natural caitian eyes at 19.
Extreme nerve damage and injury during **CLASSIFIED** resulted in amputation and replacement of both arms with cybernetic enhancements.
Successfully underwent limb therapy and surgery to grow natural caitian limb replacements on the U.S.S. Solstice under the watch of Dr Csiia.
